Dave Jones is a creative entrepreneur with expertise in applying technology to solve problems.  

Dave has been consulting Fortune 500 manufacturers and startups for 23 years, accelerating the time to market of quality, cutting-edge electronic products.

In 2002, Dave founded DE Design Works (www.dedesignworks.com), the mid-west leader in full-service Napkin Sketch to Production ™ of electronic-focused products. DE focuses on custom circuit board hardware PCB design, firmware development, rapid prototyping, and complete product development management lifecycle.

As an electrical engineer, Dave has worked in NASA space flight operations and has designed troves of sensors and IoT-connected products for medical, industrial, commercial, automotive, and military OEMs. Examples of work include brain surgery, RF ablation, and eye and dental surgery equipment, wearable diagnostic devices, automated furniture, credit card readers, HVAC controllers, race car fuel injectors, imaging systems, distributed restaurant control systems, high power micro grid renewable energy and portable battery management products to extreme low power battery devices, RFID, environmental safety products, smart lighting, advanced motion control FOC and Axial Flux PCB stator controllers, and even electric vehicle charging breakers you may have seen in a Super Bowl ad.

Dave is a former national touring musician, an advisor to businesses and universities, a member of EtherCAT Technology Group, CAN CIA, Bluetooth SIG, IEEE, and SAE.
