Gleb Akselrod

Bio:

Gleb Akselrod, Ph.D., is the Founder & CTO of Lumotive, where he drives the technical vision for programmable optics and LIDAR 2.0. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from MIT and a B.S. in Engineering Physics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Before founding Lumotive, he led optical technologies at Intellectual Ventures and did postdoctoral work at Duke University on plasmonic nanoantennas and metasurfaces. Akselrod is co-inventor on more than 30 U.S. patents, including patents on metasurfaces and light-control architectures.
