Bio:
Jaime Trinidad Veruete is a Solutions Engineer at The Things Industries, where he helps organizations build secure, scalable LoRaWAN-based IoT solutions. With over a decade of experience spanning IoT, cybersecurity, and smart networks, Jaime has worked across agriculture, real estate, smart cities, and industrial applications in Mexico, France, and beyond.
He holds a Master of Science and Technology in IoT Innovation and Management from École Polytechnique in Paris and an engineering degree in Mechatronics from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Earlier in his career, Jaime led IoT and geospatial projects for government and agricultural clients in Mexico before moving into cybersecurity and IoT project management in Europe.
Jaime is also a volunteer forecaster with Georgetown University's Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET), contributing crowdsourced analysis on the security implications of emerging technologies. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
