Mohammad Matin

Head, Sales Engineering & Solution Architect

CELUS

Bio:

Mohammad Matin is Global Head of Technical Sales and Solution Architect at CELUS, where he works with engineering teams on applying AI to early-stage electronics design, from requirements and architecture through component selection, schematic, and bill of materials.

He has spent more than 25 years in EDA, semiconductor, and engineering software, across the hardware development lifecycle: ASIC, IC, and FPGA verification, advanced PCB design flows, data management, and toolchain integration. Before CELUS, he held technical and sales leadership roles at Altium, Mentor Graphics (now Siemens EDA), and DAFCA, leading global application engineering and technical sales teams on PCB and SoC deployments in aerospace, defense, automotive, and high-technology markets.

His current work centers on how AI-assisted design connects to the tools engineers already use, and on the practical question of what can be trusted, verified, and handed off. He spoke on AI-enabled schematic automation at Embedded World North America 2026.

Mohammad holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and certifications in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science.
