Bio:
Peipei Zhao is President of North America at RoboSense, where he leads the company’s growth and commercialization across automotive, robotics, and intelligent sensing markets. He has nearly two decades of experience spanning automotive technology, sensing, connected vehicles, and global business development, with leadership roles at RoboSense, Ericsson, Flex, Valeo, and Changan Automobile.
Zhao helped drive the early adoption and commercialization of automotive LiDAR in the United States, including RoboSense’s first U.S. consumer-vehicle production program with Lucid Motors. His work increasingly focuses on how sensing, perception, and technologies developed for ADAS can transfer into robotics and Physical AI.
He has spoken at the Detroit Auto Show Mobility Global Forum, American Automotive Summit, and AutoSens USA. Zhao was named an Automotive News Champion of Diversity and a Reuters Automotive D.R.I.V.E. Honours Visionary Leader, and has served as a CES Innovation Awards judge. He holds a master’s degree in economics from Michigan Technological University.
