About Me
I’m an ICT professional with a strong learning mindset and a broad repertoire of practical skills spanning technical, commercial, and strategic domains. My work and interests focus on innovation management in high-tech environments, supporting industrial & technology policy, and creating value by bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and market needs.
Education & Early Formation
Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP) — provided me with a solid technical foundation.
Lato Sensu in Business Administration, Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) — sharpened my commercial, managerial and strategic thinking.
M.Sc. in Science & Technology Policy, UNICAMP (2005-2007) — my master’s thesis was “The internationalization of R&D in telecommunications: the limiters to investment attraction to Brazilian subsidiaries of multinational companies.” In addition, I worked on public policies and technology roadmapping (e.g. for sugarcane/ethanol) within the FAPESP research program.
Experience
Over more than two decades, I have held leadership and hands-on roles in product, strategy, sales, innovation and policy. Some key positions:
Product Line Manager, Lightera (Apr 2025 – Present) – Leading Product Engineering for IoT, Software & Services. I drive roadmap definition, prioritization, cross-functional team alignment, and strategy execution.
Software Market Specialist, Furukawa Electric LatAm (Sep 2019 – Mar 2025) – Head of the IoT, Software & Services product line. Responsible for product management, strategy, market intelligence, portfolio management; also led the internal “Blockchain Guild,” and championed tools like Strategyzer.
CPqD, various roles including Innovation & Product Marketing (Jan 2015 – Sep 2019) – Designed and led initiatives involving AI, Analytics, Information Security, and Blockchain for vertical markets; technical sales, product marketing, product management; also created a technology roadmapping process based on Design Thinking.
Earlier roles: Product Portfolio Manager (2010-2014) – focused on balancing value, linking portfolio to strategy, competitive and market intelligence; Senior Researcher, Technical Sales and Pre-Sales roles in telecommunications (e.g. Lucent Technologies) where I was deeply involved in technical assurance, strategic accounts, infrastructure projects, and knowledge transfer between product design, sales, and implementation.
I also have experience with high-tech firms such as Lucent Technologies — working on accounts, technical sales, and large telecom infrastructure projects — and with Promon (where applicable) in high-tech digital-asset / software security / infrastructure domains (depending on the capacity you had there).
