Bio:
XiaoFu Li, Ph.D., is the founder and CEO of VibraPower, Inc., where he leads the development of vibration energy harvesting technologies for industrial wireless sensing. He earned his Ph.D. at North Carolina State University in 2022 and brings four years of engineering experience at ASML.
His work connects vibration dynamics and electromagnetic energy conversion with the practical requirements of sensor power management, storage, mechanical integration, and prototype validation. At VibraPower, he works with industrial customers on pilot applications in HVAC equipment and conveyor systems, translating application-specific vibration conditions and sensor energy requirements into engineering design and test plans.
He brings a perspective spanning academic research, precision industrial engineering, and customer-driven hardware development. His focus is on helping engineers determine when vibration harvesting is feasible, how to measure usable energy, and what evidence is needed to progress from a laboratory prototype toward reliable industrial operation.
