Bio:
An innovator in microsystems with over 10 years of research experience in MEMS/NEMS, microfabrication, piezoelectric resonators, sensors and transducers. Known for pioneering work on zero-power infrared sensors and graphene-enhanced piezoelectric NEMS resonators. Authored/co-authored more than 80 papers published in high-impact journals and at premier conferences. PI/senior personnel of over $10M government research grants. Solid background in electrical engineering including piezoelectric/thermomechanical transducers design, device modeling and simulation, fabrication process development, characterization of MEMS devices and optical systems. Strong capabilities of self-learning, problem solving, quick prototyping, project management, technical writing/presentation, and team building. Passionate about transitioning research innovations into tangible commercial solutions.
