Azita Arvani - AI Transformation Leader, Board Director, Former CEO

Azita Arvani is a technology executive and board director known for leading bold transformations at the intersection of AI, connectivity, and enterprise innovation.

As former CEO of Rakuten Symphony Americas, she launched a cloud-native 5G platform across the Americas, built Tier 1 partnerships with AT&T and TELUS, and influenced U.S. telecom policy through strategic government engagement. She co-founded the Open RAN Policy Coalition, helping secure multi-billion-dollar federal innovation funding.

Azita serves on the board of Tennant Company (NYSE: TNC), a global leader in industrial and commercial cleaning solutions, and previously served on the board of Vuzix (NASDAQ: VUZI), a pioneer in AR and smart glasses. She is also a member of the Wall Street Journal Board of Directors Council and a Senior Fellow and Executive in Residence at the Center for the Future of Organization at the Drucker School of Management, Claremont Graduate University. Earlier, she led global innovation and AI investment programs at Nokia, generating over $1B in strategic value.

She is Managing Director of Arvani Group, advising Fortune 500s and growth-stage companies on AI-led transformation. Recognized as “Woman in Tech Leader of the Year” in 2023, she is a sought-after voice at global innovation forums.

She holds an MS in Management from Stanford University (Sloan Fellow), an MS in Computer Science from USC, and a BS in Math/Computer Science (Magna Cum Laude) from UCLA.
