As AI moves from centralized cloud environments into real-world systems, one of the most critical—and least understood—questions is: where should intelligence actually live?

In this fireside chat, we’ll explore the emerging “edge continuum,” where AI is increasingly distributed across sensors, devices, gateways, private edge, operator infrastructure, and cloud platforms. Rather than focusing on models or silicon alone, this discussion will take a systems-level view of how these layers work together in practice.

Through real-world scenarios, we’ll examine the key tradeoffs that shape deployment decisions, including latency, bandwidth, cost, power, resilience, privacy, and connectivity.
