The AI tsunami will transform every sector across every region for every human in our lifetime. While the initial focus has been around cloud AI — expanding AI data center capacity 10-fold by 2030 — the puck is moving to edge AI, which comprises of a range of smart devices from AI PCs to AI smartphones, from robots to humanoids, from cameras to drones, from self-driving cars to robotaxis. We will see the growing importance of sensors across every one of these devices enabling always-on, always-connected intelligent experiences. With on-device compute across these devices and sensors, the data will be perceived, processed, and acted upon in real time, unleashing new applications and services (applied AI).
