Closing the Loop: Sensor-Integrated Conversational Agents from Medtech to Industrial IoT
Session details:
Sensors flood us with numbers; what’s missing is context. This keynote starts with how sensors see the world—video, vibration, bio-signals, temperature, location—and shows how to bind those streams to what’s actually happening: behaviors, self-reports, environment, and device state. I’ll walk through a practical, vendor-agnostic stack that pairs on-device preprocessing with adaptive baselines and a simple “reason engine” so every threshold breach arrives with an explanation—motion artifact or non-adherence, thermal load or true fault—and a next step. Layered on top is a conversational agent at the edge that turns context into action: prompt a patient, pace an athlete, derate a pump, dispatch maintenance, or escalate to a human—then write the outcome back to memory so the system gets smarter over time. Across medtech, wearables, industrial IoT, and smart buildings, attendees will see how context transforms sensors from raw feeds into real-time decisions that cut false alarms, speed interventions, boost adherence and uptime, and make complex systems understandable—and controllable—in the moment.
