IoT Sensing Requires Infrastructure Resilience (Now More than Ever)

Session details:

Advances in sensor technology and AI-driven applications in industrial, agricultural and other IoT deployments are accelerating the demand for highly resilient and high-performance network infrastructures. Whether sensors are deployed in a factory or across the open range, data volume and the temporal importance of data collection are placing new demands on connectivity providers.

This vendor-neutral session will highlight always-on, resilient and high-performance infrastructure approaches using wireless and non-terrestrial networks to acquire sensor data when and where needed. Throughput and latency effects on real-time monitoring, diagnostics and remote management will be covered.

The speaker will cite deployed use cases to discuss emerging IoT applications, business requirements for flexibility, and advantages of IoT core networks over traditional cellular networks. The session will cover advances in SIM/eSIM/iSIM technologies providing seamless global operational resilience.
