The MEMS Journey... with Silicon Catalyst

The process of bringing a MEMS device from concept to product is both lengthy and expensive.  In fact, unless there is a strong foundry relationship that can extensively leverage an existing process flow, it is not uncommon for the productization stage to take more than 5 years, with costs easily running into the millions of dollars, which can be very difficult for an early-stage startup to sustain.  In this presentation, I will discuss some of the hurdles that MEMS startups face, as well as presenting how Silicon Catalyst works to improve the success rate for our portfolio MEMS companies.
