Results of the 2025 MEMS Commercialization Report Card Study

Session details:

First published in 1998, Roger Grace Associates has created and conducted the MEMS Industry Commercialization Report Card (Report Card) Study which has annually monitored the “health” of the worldwide MEMS industry vis-à-vis 14 subjects a.k.a. critical success factors and supplemented by verbatims from the respondents.  The Report Card Study uses a modified “Delphi Method” which is based on the opinions of highly experienced and acknowledged worldwide MEMS industry experts who contributed.

The grade level results of the 2025 MEMS Industry Commercialization Report Card Study will be presented, but more importantly, selected verbatims from the respondents which offer significant value to the successful addressing of commercialization barriers will be provided and actionable strategies for companies to achieve commercialization success.  It will also address the motivation of conducting the Report Card and its research methodology.

Additionally, the Study addressed the issue of the status of MEMS in its life cycle.  Respondents opined that MEMS had achieved a mature level in the life cycle transitioning from its previous growth phase.   The presentation will address these findings and provide vitamins which provide rationale for their opinions.   Recommendations on how to modify current business tactics and strategies to optimize success in this new phase will be provided.
