State of the Market for Edge AI in Sensors
Session details:
Panel Discussion on the state of Edge Ai adoption in Sensors
This panel session that would repeat the format for the Panel from Edge AI Foundation members. Moderated by Michael Kuptz, VP of Development at the Edge AI Foundation, that session included leading voices in edge computing and AI hardware innovation. The panelists will discuss the current state in 2026 of the evolution from tinyML to the Edge of AI: Connecting AI to the Real World." This panel will explore the journey from tinyML—AI on resource-constrained devices—to full-fledged edge AI systems that bring intelligence directly to the physical world. The panelists will discuss what has changed in the evolution from tinyML to Edge AI, how AI is deployed on microcontrollers and low-power devices, edge architectures for real-time inference with limited resources, and use cases where edge AI enables faster, safer, and more private decision-making. The session will also address challenges such as model compression, latency, bandwidth, and security.
